Had a good night at the theatre on Friday courtesy of The Skinny mag .  Went to see Murder on Air by The Agatha Christie Players, great wee show.  

Also received my Havainas flip flops - now put by for holiday..

2014 wins

I keep forgetting to take pics of wins so therefore I totally neglected this blog but I enjoy keeping this a record of wins to remind my why it is so worth the time involved...

So recent wins have included:

A DAB car radio from an Argos Facebook comp - will look to get this fitted in the next week or two

A mop lol .... (still it has come in handy) this was from one of the magazines daily comps

A lovely Le Creuset pie dish

Amazon vouchers from insurance company Cover for You

Theatre Tokens from Appletiser - off to see Wicked in December at Edinburgh 

Also won a two night stay for a family room in Scottish Youth Hostels - plan to get this booked up for a wee trip away this summer.

So not too bad recently - it's still great fun no matter how big or small the wins are. 

April 2012

It's been a bit of a better month - received a portable Daylight lamp from Cross-stitching.com. Well I say it is from Cross-stitching.com as that was the only comp I could see that I had  entered which matched the prize but as this just arrived direct from the suppliers with no other details I can't be 100% sure lol!  I love it when stuff just turns up - certainly makes the post more exciting...

I also got a letter for my dd to say she had won a 22" tv/dvd which should turn up in a month - so pleased about this as this was something that she really wanted but I wasn't for buying as her current tv works just fine.  This was from one of the Puzzler mags.

Well 2012 has been a bit of a slow starting comp year so far - only two wins so far lol!!  Tickets to a stitching show and a meal out in Edinburgh 

Took the kids for a day out last week using a Falkirk Wheel ticket i had won and then on to Edinburgh to the Sheep Heid Inn for the meal we won.  The inn itself is a gorgeous little building in what feels like the middle of the countryside but is actually in the centre of Edinburgh however have to say that while the food was good OMG the service was a bit rubbish ... wouldn't be rushing back anytime soon

I am really needing some comping fairy dust  to get some more decent wins.. maybe tomorrow

October/November wins

Another couple of wins from the last few weeks  -  a family ticket for the Falkirk Wheel from Morton's Publishing

Family tickets for Legoland Discovery Centre at Trafford Centre - one wee happy boy - off in February to Manchester then.

it's been a while/Berlin win

I have been meaning to update this blog for sometime now, i hadn't realised it had been quite so long - where do the months go. 

I've had a couple of decent wins recently so will start with them.

first up, i won a trip for two to Berlin to see Bruno Mars in concert - this was so good!  We just got the one night in Berlin but had enough time to get a quick look round before the gig. I have to say i was pleasantly surprised with Bruno Mars, he put on a damn good show.    We stayed at the Adina Hautbahnhof hotel - a lovely aparthotel in the centre, v.  nice.  All in all , a really good win - thanks Capital FM.

Edinburgh break

Had a win last year from UKhotels via facebook for a two day break to Channings Hotel - spent a lovely couple of days here in a very snowy Edinburgh.. hotel and staff were all great, not far from the centre and they upgraded us to a superior room - would definitely recommend if planning a trip to Edinburgh
